A FINAL TO LOOK FORWARD TO - Under 13's Girls to play in the league cup final

Under 13's Girls confirmed their spot in the league cup final after a "Commanding 6-0 victory" in the semi final.

Felling Magpies will play Norton and Stockton in the Under 13's Girls Russell Foster league cup on the 18th May. The girls go into the fixture as underdogs with Norton and Stockton normally winning the league and cup every season.

However, Ian Graham's side are confident going into the fixture "The semi final was some of the best football we have played so far this season. Everything we had been working on in training over the weeks leading up to it (the semi final) all seemed to come together."

"We were strong in attack and they couldn't break us down."

Focusing on the final, Ian said "Everyone involved knows it will be a tough task, up against the best team in the league."

"We've never beaten them before and will be classed as the underdogs, but if the girls can play the football they know they can do then who knows."

The fixture will played at the Russell Foster Centre on the 18th May, 11am Kick off.
